Like many moms, when it came to my little one’s crib, I was really obsessed over the crib itself, the sheets, the blankets and basically anything that had to do with its design and overall look. Of course, we made sure to get the best mattress and a crib that met all the latest safety criteria and had good reviews. But I wasn’t really focusing on the safety aspects of it all until – I hate to admit it – recently. Yikes. As Jai has become increasingly mobile over the past few months, I’ve become increasingly more aware of his crib and the “rules” of crib safety. Here’s a short breakdown of what I’ve learned and put into action.
