For so many years now, I’ve been rinsing my hair with cold water after shampooing and conditioning. I first learned about doing this from my hair guy, Ronnie, back in my hometown in Virginia. And I have to say that I think it works. For sure, the most important thing still is to pick a conditioner that works for you to keep hair soft, smooth and manageable. But I do believe that a cold water rinse helps a lot too by keeping the hair cuticle closed and leaving the surface of your hair much shinier, softer, smoother. Also, try out the cold air setting on your hair dryer if you dry your hair this way. It’s another easy way to make sure that the cuticle closes and that your hair is frizz free and perfect for all those humid, warmer days ahead!
PS+ Thanks, Ronnie!!
